Samsung unveils Fila-branded Galaxy Buds Live, new BTS collab may be in the works

Samsung struck gold with its collaboration with with K-pop superstars BTS and is now looking for more cross-branding opportunities. Coming up next is a collab with famous sportswear company Fila.

The Samsung x Fila Galaxy Buds Live are based on the Mystic White model and are adorned with the company’s logo. There are two bespoke cases included in the retail package – one that looks like a shoe box and one that has a mini Fila sneaker attached on a chain.

Only 2,000 units will be produced and they will go on sale on September 9 at a price of KRW 209,000 ($175/€150). They will launch in South Korea on the Kakao Shopping Live channel, followed by a wider online launch on the next day (check Samsung’s and Fila’s websites). It’s not clear if Samsung will make them available globally.

Leakster Ishan Agarwal has some interesting news too. While the first BTS-branded buds were the older Galaxy Buds+ (which are larger and lack ANC), Samsung may be working on a new collaboration with the band, this time based on the Galaxy Buds Live.

Note that BTS became the brand ambassador for Fila late last year (after dropping Puma), so we may see a lot of cross-promotion of these products.
