It’s official: Realme 7 and 7 Pro are coming on September 3

Realme is holding an event on September 1 in China for its new X7 series smartphones, and two days later, it will unveil the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro.

Realme’s Indian branch has announced that the launch event will begin at 12:30PM IST (7AM UTC) and will be streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel as well as on Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Realme is promoting the Realme 7 series with the tagline “Capture Sharper. Charge Faster”, which is a reference to the second-gen 64MP camera and 65W SuperDart charging on the lineup.

The Realme 7 and 7 Pro are both likely to pack a 64MP quad camera setup, but only the Pro version will support 65W charging. The regular model is likely to charge at up to 30W.

Realme hasn’t revealed the entire specs sheet of the Realme 7 duo yet, but the company did confirm the punch hole display and an in-display fingerprint scanner on the lineup. The former is likely to be only present on the vanilla 7, while the latter will likely feature on the Pro model only.
